(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Android and iPhone users can now purchase Office 365 for free on their mobile devices, announced Microsoft last week.
The new free mobile version of Office 365 will include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, allowing users the ability to use most of the basic functions of each software, though those wanting to use more advanced editing will need to purchase the full subscription, reports the Wall Street Journal.
“We want as many users as we can get,” said John Case, corporate vice president of marketing for Microsoft Office. “It’s becoming clearer to us, to continue to be the best paid solution, it’s also important to be the best free solution.”
